nuclear power plant is nothing but a process of producing electricity by nuclear fusion and nuclear fission reactions. atoms like uranium and thorium are bombarded with neutrons to produce enormous amount of heat energy. this heat energy is then used to produce steam. steam when passed with high pressure rotates the turbine. the turbine is coupled with generator to produce current.
