In today's world there is cut-throat competition in every field. Education is the top priority for everyone. People from agricultural backgrounds, business, artists, craftsmen, all want their children to have the best of education. Books can give this.
Life without books is life without oxygen. It is only because of books that we are able to communicate with each other. If we didn't have books, we wouldn't have media. We wouldn't know about the historical monuments and life. We wouldn't have any doctors, engineers etc. Because of this people would die faster and would suffer a lot. "Life without books" is a "house without windows."
We get lots of information from books, which makes our minds sharp and make us intelligent. I would like to conclude that "Life without books is a car without petrol." Here the car is our life and the petrol is books, due to which we become intelligent and reach our goal
