Dear God, I pray to you to give me the strength and wisdom to play well and fair on the ground. Kindly protect me from the injuries I might be exposed to! I pray for not only my safety; but for the safety of my opponents as well! Dear God, help me play with true sportsmanship; let me accept my defeats and victories with equanimity. Help me learn the best lessons of physical, mental, and spiritual strength and the right attitude from the sports I play. I thank You God for allowing me to ask for Your help!

Dear God, we are much obliged to you for every one of the blessings you have given us. Help us to go into this occasion with adoration, shrewdness, and quality in our souls. We supplicate that we would look at you in amazement and love. May we try all that we have learned in our preparation and infer every one of the abilities and arranging from our planning times. May each of us knows about your integrity in our lives, and may this decency spill out of us as an observer to your eternal goodness. You, Lord, are our motivation, our instructor, and our defender.
