first take the map and simply draw vertical and horizontal lines such that it results in small squares columns and then carefully observe each square box..u will get to learn or remember the map..

Take a blank map
Take an Atlas
Spot the blank map with the area you have to mark.
Keep in mind to remember the latitude and longitude, as it will help you to remember the location.
Then compare it with Atlas.
Practice till you mark perfectly

its easy just learn the places if u have to mark bharatpur see in the map at in which state is it it is in Rajasthan and see a loose direction or side of it. and u get to learn it.
personally what i do is when marking places on a map.................I
