Answer:

Firstly, economical points. Nowadays, people love to be active and doing things like climbing, river rafting and skiing.

The Himalayan Mountains all these attractive qualities naturally such as the green pastures of Uttaranchal and the cold desert Lahaul.

Also, the mountains in Nepal are very popular for climbing.

Explanation:

Obviously, people that come here to do climbing and other adventure sports, have to be guided with professional climbers which obviously cost money. Therefore, companies are making money from the adventure that this Mountain range have naturally.

There is also some industry in the Himalayan Mountains which includes processing food grains, producing vegetable oil, refining sugar and brewing beer.

Humans have also had to do nothing for the Himalayan Mountains to become a big tourist attraction as they are the most famous mountain range in the world and this is mostly because they are the tallest mountain ranges in the world.

It even has the most famous mountain in the world-Mount Everest.

This is very famous because it is the tallest mountain in the world with a spot height of 29,029ft.

Many people see climbing Everest as a great challenge.

Being the largest mountain range in the world, the Himalayas provide very important natural qualities that effect the people living in that specific part of Asia. Firstly, they form a climatic barrier which section India and South Asia from Central Asia and North Asia which means that winds prevailing off Central Asia will be unable to travel over the Himalayas and onto South Asia and India.

They also prevent heavy monsoon rains from travelling over the Indian Ocean to North India.

The Himalayas also mean that there is lots of heavy forests and vegetation sloping down .

There are many different types of trees growing in these forests.

These obviously provide a good source for wood and timber but also gives good shelter for many types of beautiful birds and wildlife.

Perhaps the most useful natural quality for humans that the Himalayas provides is that it is a steady, reliable water source across Northern India.

In the summer when it scarcely rains, the snow on top of the mountains melts and fills lots of rivers with water which is also used for producing electricity.

When the water streams down the mountain, it makes the soil there very fertile and good for growing crops in-this is very important to the farmers that live in the Mountain Ranges!
