Ecosikh Punjab Village
In the present era, when our own existence is threatened due to the increasing pollution and number of endangered species, it is high time that we realize the fact that some restitution is due on our part. We need to reduce the carbon footprint and make our city/town an environment-friendly community.
In history, we read about how villages were self-reliant, but in the present scenario, with the advancements in science and technology, we can hardly dream of that kind of set-up to return. The only solution is to manage our means to make the best of our present situation.
When we think of the eco-friendly village, the first picture that comes to our mind is a peaceful place where cleanliness is maintained in all respect. Similarly, the use of wind energy, solar energy, and biomass energy would not only help reduce the level of pollution but would also mark the steps to conserve our valuable resources. Instead of plastic, people use jute, cotton the like. The village can have its own power plant and water distribution system. Besides, the wastes are used to produce 'Gobar Gas' which would help further in cooking and other needs.
So, we conclude that pastoral sites have a lot of scope for being energy efficient and environment-friendly. It's our duty to tap them to our advantage.

Explanation:
