I stepped out of the hostel gate. Our hostel was not more than a hundred yards from the river. The sand was damped with the morning dew. But as I buried my feet I felt the warmth of the previous day's sun. There were immense banyan trees, and birds stirring and chirping in their nests.I felt as if I was really in a new world.
