Through the column of your esteemed daily I would like to ventilate my deep concern about the careless driving of the public vehicles on the road. Here it is.
Reckless driving has become a great problem for the common life at present. It is a new threat to the us. Drivers of buses, lorries and private cars are often found to compete with each other without having any reason. The pedestrians who walk on the footpath or cross a road, feel danger in every step. Fatal accidents occur for the carelessness of the drivers and we face the death of many Innocents. Violation of the traffic rules is a common matter in India and this is the most terrific reason of those accidents. The government has introduced “safe drive, Save life” programme; but few people take it seriously. They don’t hesitate to drink wine while they know that they will drive. Police department is undoubtedly aware of this. But they are now acting as Innocent as most of them are corrupted. So, where will the general public go? Only the higher authorities are dependable and for this we request them to take proper action necessary for solving the problem..
