Theory vs practical.
We now have a type of education system where we are asked to memorize all the theorical part, vomit it in the answer sheet and score 'good' marks!
Where as during olden days they were not only taught to read and write but also how to deal with practical life. KNOWLEDGE WAS GIVEN IMPORTANCE.
In gurukul (school) the students(shishya) would stay with their teacher (GURU) and learn how to be self dependent, they were also taught self defense techniques.
But in the present generation we are only expected to mug up the entire textbook, even in the subject 'computer science' we are not taught to operate the system but rather memorize the syllabus.
There were so many great things taught during the ancient period but now we are expected to run back of ‘marks' and so we lack behind when it comes to our ‘knowledge’.
There are many such differences between the ancient and the modern education system.
One such difference is practical vs theory!

Many differences
in old generation
No use of mobiles
and no online study but in today 's life this is exist in our study and become a most important part of education
