HERE IS YOUR ANSWER :

Education is very important to build the base of individual's character. It teaches us life skills and helps us become thinkers. The education in India is often not given as much importance by the parents in the socioeconomic classes. Many children start doing menial jobs at a meager pay and don't go to school. That's why the literacy rate in many states in India is very low. Another problem is girl education is considered 2nd priority to boy education in India.

The govt of India has introduced many schemes for this. The mid day meal is a scheme were children receive a wholesome meal around noon. Thus, as an incentive many parents send their children to school because they will be fed. The govt has also launched many scholarships to encourage high scorers coming from families of limited resources to continue higher education. Students are also promoted to eighth standard to lower the dropout rate. The education of girl child till the 12th standard is also free under state govt.

However, since independence India has made tremendous progress. The situation of education in India is improving.

HEY!!

Yes, I agree to your statement "Education is the pillar of our nation". If a country has to develop, then it need educated people. Education is an effort of the senior people to transfer their knowledge to the younger members of society. It is thus an institution, which plays an essential role in intergrating an individual with his society.  It let people to know the world beyond their own surroundings and transforms them to become rationalist and humanist in outlook.

If we talk about India education then Indian education system has a wide structure and the educational institutions. Schools are of different levels. Local Boards run the schools upto Primary, Fifth standard, both in mother tongue and English medium. Thereafter the schools may upgrade themselves upto tenth known as Secondary schools. They can also be upgraded upto twelfth ,called Senior Secondary schools. This helps in devloping the mind of students at different levels.

In my opinion about Indian schools, then has to be well organised as they are expected. Private/Public school charge high fee and have control on their institution. They only need the registration by the Centre/State Government or their Bodies and Management. While the Education Department has a loose control over these Private/ Public Schools government has its own schools where the normal fee is charged and the students belong with poor section of society. Overall the condition of government schools is pathetic.
