The "effects" of the "inclination" of the "earth’s axis" is best understood when we know that the Earth’s axis is disposed at an angle of 66 ½ degrees. Rotation and revolution are the two most important activities of the earth. So what effects do they cause? For six months, the North Pole becomes more inclined towards the Sun rather than the South Pole which causes "summer" in the "northern hemisphere" and "winter" in the "southern". After six months, the situation turns around. The southern hemisphere enjoys the bliss of summer while the northern enjoys the fun of winters. To put it simply, it is the inclination of the earth’s axis which leads to change of seasons.
