Geographical diversity is the set of physical, human, and cultural elements, differentiated from each other, that converge in the same relatively small geographic space that is part of the same zone, region, or country. Although occupying 0.1% of the earth’s surface, Nepal is one of the richest countries in the world in terms of bio-diversity due to its unique geographical position and altitudinal variation. The geography of Nepal is divided into three main regions: Terai regions, Hilly regions, and Himalaya regions. The highest point of the country is Mount Everest (8848 m) and the lowest point is located in the Terai region in Kechana Kalan in Jhapa (60 m). Due to this, Nepal is a geographical diversity.
