Given:

To Find:

  • Number of ways Children can set

Solution:

Assumption:  All Eight children has to sit on bench and there are only 8 spaces on bench to sit.

Eight children can sit on a bench in  8!  ways

n! = n(n - 1).(n - 2)... 1  where n is natural number

Hence

8!  = 8.7.6.5.4.3.2.1

8! = (56)(720)

8! =  40320

Hence Eight children can seat in 40320 ways on a bench
