Volume of the 8 small metallic sphere=8×4/3×π×(4/2)³=256π/3 cm³
On melting the 8 small spheres into a big single sphere,
Volume of the single big sphere=Volume of the 8 small metallic sphere
=256π/3 cm³
Let the radius of the big sphere be R cm
⇒4/3×πR³=256π/3
R³=(256π/3)/(4/3×π)=64
R=∛64=4 cm(Ans.)
