Consider today's father age f

and son age s

first condition:

3(s-18)=f-18

3s-54=f-18           ..........(1)

Condition second:

2s=f                      ...........(2)

put this value in equation 1.

3s-54=2s-18

3s-2s=54-18

s=36

then,

2s=f

2*36=f

f=72

Addition of father and son age:s+f

                                                  =72+36

                                                   =108
