Solution:

In a family there are 4 members. The sum of their ages is 122. The father and son are 8 years older than the mother and daughter respectively. The boy's age is half that of the father's, how old is the girl's age?

Girls Age  = G  

Boy Age = G + 8

Father Age = 2(G + 8) = 2G + 16

Mother age = 2G + 16 - 8 = 2G + 8

sum of their ages is 122.

=> G + G + 8 + 2G + 16 + 2G + 8  = 122

=> 6G = 90

=> G = 15

Girls Age  = 15  Years
