Ethical Issues in Counseling Practice will include topics such as:

Dual Relationships, Confidentiality, Development And Use Of Disclosure Statements, Informed Consent, Client Rights, Multicultural Counseling, Issues Of Supervision, Professional Competence, Ethical Decision Making and More.

Ethical Issues in Counseling Practice will be in small group sessions.

The topics will be driven by the participants and will focus on ethical dilemmas of either counseling practice or clinical supervision. This intimate arrangement allows for participants to share cases and discuss the more complicated decisions while exploring issues confronted in the mental health field.

Limited to 10 participants per session, these workshops are energetic, interactive and highly charged. Through an ethical decision making process, participants will study mental health ethics issues and explore where potential harm to clients can be avoided. Although the intent of this workshop is to focus on ethics issues, the outcome is also a more enhanced mental health practice. Bring your own ethics issues.
