$v { }^{2} - u {}^{2} = 2as$
The area under the graph gives us the distance travelled by the object.
S= area of the trapezium
$\frac{1}{2} (oa + bd) \times od$

$\frac{1}{2} (u + v) \times t$


From equation (1),
$t = \frac{v - u}{a}$


so
$s = \frac{1}{2} (v + u) \times \frac{(v - u)}{a}$

$\frac{v {}^{2} - u {}^{2} }{2a } = s$
$v {}^{2} - u { }^{2} = 2as$
Third equation is formed.
