elections are held in China
regularly but it is still not a
democratic country. Explain why?​

Answer:

Because,in China there is only one party called Chinese Communist Party.As they have only one choice to vote ,they must & should vote for that party only.In this ,Elections are not taking place in a free &fair manner.So,China is a non democratic country

● Before contesting elections a candidate needs the approval of the Chinese Communist Party .

● Only those who are the members of the Chinese Communist Party or eight smaller parties allied to it were allowed to contest elections .
