And for this reason electric current should be considered a vector as it has both magnitude and direction. But in addition, vectors obey the law of parrellogram of vectors, which the electric current does not obey. For this reason, current is a scalar quantity and not a vector.

Electric current (I) has direction but not magnitude therefore, it is a scaler quantity.
