Electricity generated at hydroelectric power stations is considered to be another form of solar energy. Explain. The energy of water (or hydro energy) is in fact an indirect source of solar energy because it is the solar energy which is responsible for water cycle.

Hai its right as water cycle is due to the solar energy as the rain is responsible for the water being filled in the reserviors of dam and this water is allowes to rotate the turbine and thus electricity is generated.
