_______________________________________here is your favourable answer._ ________
◆Electrolytic refining method of sodium chloride .
---------------------------------------------------------------
it is a purification method of metal which is apply to purify the several metal like Al,Cu,Zn,Na in very pure form.

-------------------------like sodium metal is purified by this method At first we take an impure metal rod which wants to be purify which is attached with positive terminal so which behave as a anode the pure metal rod of same metal and less thickness is also taken which is attached with negative terminal so which behave as a cathod the electrolyte while be taken as a salt solution of same metal in a container after this when we pass electric current through the solution the salt of electrolytic become decomposes to form positive and negative ion, the positive ion of metal goes towards cathod after gaining electron from cathod it form metal which is deposited in it.

..................Nacl------------>Na++Cl-

simultaneously,the metal of anode losses electron in anode and ionised which goes in the solution and then after it goes towards cathod metal it deposited in cathod .this process is repeated again and again at least the thickness of pure pure rod (anode)become less whole the thickness of pure rod (cathod )become more and impurities are left behind as an anode mud near the anode.

hope it help you..
