electron affinity of noble gases is zero because all noble gases has achieved octet.
that is there outermost shell has 8 electrons and is filled.they take part in less reactions

Electron affinity of an element is the energy released when an element in the gas phase gains an extra electron to form an anion.
Noble gases have a completely filled valence shell and does not require any extra electron to become stable and so has a zero electron affinity.

ruhi10: thanks for helping :)
