Electron dot structure of aluminum chloride:

  • Very commonly used drug aluminium chloride is used for hygienic purposes by many.
  • It is an ionic salt it which has Non metal and metal ion.
  • It is used in day to day life as an antiperspirant where clogging of pores is the purpose served by the aluminium present in this.
  • Chlorine as we know it has a deficiency of an ion while aluminium has extra 3 ions which is captured by 3 chlorine ions thereby making aluminium chloride.
