electron enters into after filling 3p orbital not into 3d Why

It doesn't enter to 3d because 3d orbital has higher energy than that of 2s. According to Aufbau's rule an electron first enters into an obital having low energy.

according to Aufbau's principle electrons enter into sub shell from lower to higher energy level.

and if you compare the energy of 4s and 3d orbital, that is (N + L) value, then the energy of 3d is more than 4s.

and that's why electron enters into 4s after filling up the 3p orbital rather than into 3d.
