electonegativity increase around the period and ionization energy also increase around the period same for electron affinity and electro positivity just opposite

ELECTRON NEGATIVITY-

Electronegativity of an element is defined as the relative tendency or ability of the atom of an element present in a molecule to attract the shared electron pair to word itself

Electro negativity increase on moving along a period from left to right

Electro negativity decreases from top to bottom in a group
_____________________
ELECTRO POSITIVITY

electropositive character of an element is its ability to lose one or more electrons to form a positively charged ion

Electropositive character decreases from left to right along a period

electropositive character increases from top to bottom along a group

IONIZATION ENERGY

ionization energy of an element is the minimum amount of energy required to remove the most loosely held electron from the outermost shell of an isolated neutral gaseous atom of that element in its lowest energy state to produce a cation

Ionization energy general increases from left to right along a period

Ionization energy decreases from top to bottom in a group
_____________________
ELECTRON AFFINITY

the amount of energy released when an electron is added to an isolated neutral gaseous atom in its lowest energy state to produce anion is called its electron affinity

Electron affinity values general increases on moving from left to right along a period

Electron affinity gradually decreases from top to bottom of a group
