(a) Elements in the right side of the periodic table have high electronegativity.Fluorine has the highest electronegativity.

For example, fluorine has the highest tendency to attract electrons and therefore, it is the most electronegative atom.

(b)  When we move across a period then there will be increase in electronegativity.

Whereas when we move down a group then there will be decrease in electronegativity.
