^_^ Atomic Structure ^.^

Final Answer : 30

Seems like there is Conceptual error :

Correction : Replace Atomic Weight with Mass Number. ^_^

Steps:

1) No. of electrons in M(2+) = 2+2+6+2+6+6 = 24

No. of electrons in M = 24 + 2 = 26

Since, M is neutral ,

=> No. of protons =No. of electrons

=> No. of protons = 26

2)Mass Number = No. of protons + No. of Neutrons

=> 56 = 26 + n

=> n = 30

Therefore, No of Neutrons = 30
