we know, p - type semiconductor is obtained by adding a small amount of trivalent impurity to a pure sample of semiconductor like Ge.
here Holes are majority charge carriers and electrons are minority charge carriers.

hence, it is wrong statement that electrons are majority carriers and trivalent atoms are the dopants in case of p - type semiconductor.
