Electrovalent compound in solid state do not conduct electricity in aquous form it conduct . Why ?

BECAUSE IN THE SOLID THE IONS ARE NOT FREE BECAUSE OF INTERMOLECULAR FORCE OF ATTRACTION .
BUT IN AQUAS SOLUTION IONS ARE FREE HENCE ELECTRICITY PRODUCED
