Element x,y and are present in third period of periodic table. Element x forms an acidic oxide ,element y forms a basic oxide and element z forms an amphoteic oxides .
1. Arrange x, y and z in increasing order of their atomic number
2.in whish group of the table is z likely to be?

1. Arrangement will be Y, Z, X.

Because, Y is pure metal, Z is Aluminium, X is non metal.


2. Z may belong to 13th group.
