As we know that elements are made up of same kind of atoms ...and elements are more stable in its elemental form...
elements do not form ion easily because formation of ion requires energy and this energy is not easily available in laboratory....
so elements do not form ions easily..due to elements do not want to lose their stability...and hence does not form ions..
