Elements with low ionization potential and high electron affinity form ionic type bonds. Which type of bonds are formed among the elements with high ionization potential and high electron affinity?

Covalent bond is formed between elements with high ionization potential and high electron affinity because an element with high ionization potential has a greater value of electro negativity. Due to this, the electro negativity difference between the two elements is very less.
