Well, we have the function given to us

f : R+ -> [4,inf)

Now,

f(x) = x^2 + 4

Clearly,

now,

f(g(x)) = (g(x))^2 + 4

Put,

g(x) = f^-1 (x)

Which gives us

f(f^-1(x)) = (f^-1(x))^2 + 4

implies,

+- √x - 4 = f^-1(x)

Now,

f^-1(x) must be + √x-4 and it cannot be - √x-4

because the range of f^-1(x) must be the domain defined for the function f

Which means that the range of f^-1(x) must be positive which is possible only from f^-1(x) = + √x-4
