☞ Shot put is an athletics sport in which people try to "put" a heavy weighted ball as far as they can throw.

☞ This game was added to Olympics since 1896.

☞ Shot put competitions were first recorded in early 19th century Scotland.

☞ Women sport was introduced in Olympic in 1948
