The testing of embryo is banned because this is misused by many of the people to know the gender of the baby.

Also, it has lead to most of the crimes like female foeticide.

Some families considers a girl child as a burden and so if they gets know by testing of embryo that a girl baby is in the womb of the mother, then they kill the baby child. This is a crime. And so this testing is banned to prevent such misuses.
