Total liters of juice = 7 liters

Emily drank = 4/7

Mary = ??

Emily drank = (4/7) × 7

                    =  4 Liters....

So , the total amount of juice drank by Emily is 4 liters.

Amount of juice in a bottle = 7 liters

Then ,

Amount of juice consumed by Mary  = (1 - juice consumed by Emily)

= (1 - ( 4/7))

= (7-4) / 7

= 3/7

∴ Total amount of juice consumed by Mary = 3/7 of 7 liters.

= (3/7) × 7

= 3 liters.

So , The total amount of juice drank by Mary  is 3 liters
