Molecular mass = 2 x V. D.
= 2 x 30 = 60
Mass of Carbon = 12
Mass of hydrogen = 2 x 1 = 2
Mass of oxygen = 16
Total mass = 12 + 2 + 16 = 30.
So, to have 60, we should multiply the molecule by 2.
After multiplying, we get
C2H4O2
This is the answer.

Thanks.

molecular mass of ch2o=60u
and vapour density is 30
therefore it's molecular formula will be
60/30*ch2o i.e2(ch20)
c3h4o2
