1. We bake chapaties -- heat energy is provided to dough.
2. We kick a football at rest and ball comes into motion -- kinetic energy is transferred to the ball.

In case of chemical thermodynamics, a change in energy is noted as change in energy.


This takes place due to the occurence of the chemical reactions.


Again, when fire is burnt there is a change in energy and it is a chemical reaction which produces a lot of energy as a consequence.
