How does a lightning conductor work?
What danger will it pose to the building
if the lightning conductor rod accidently
broke into two from the middle? Why?

- Lightning conductors conduct a lightning strike from the roof of a structure, by way of heavy copper or aluminum wires, to rods driven into the grounds, thereby protecting the structure they are applied to from the lightning itself.
- During thundering when lightning strick the building when the rod brake into parts the building will insafe because during lightning now directly strike the building and may be building get collapse or harm the people living the house (since in absence of rod the thunders directly passes through the blinding to earth thats why people instal lightning rod so that when thundering occurs the thunders storm pass through the rod to earth and does not effect the building.
