The area of the rectangular garden in which Shyaivi will plant trees is 1850 m².

Step-by-step explanation:

The dimension of the rectangular garden:

Length, l = 95 m

Breadth, b = 80 m

Area of the rectangular garden = l * b = 95 * 80 = 7600 m²

It is given that an area of 5 m broad outside the garden in order to plant the trees

So, the dimension of the garden + the outside area for planting trees:

New length = 95 + (5*2) = 105 m

New breadth = 80 + (5*2) = 90 m

Area of the rectangular garden including the broad area outside the garden,

= new length * new breadth

= 105 * 90

= 9450 m²

Thus,

The area in which Shyaivi will plant trees is given by,

= [Area of the rectangular garden including the broad area outside the garden] – [Area of the rectangular garden]

= 9450 – 7600

= 1850 m²
