Area of triangle is 12cm² and length of QS is 3cm

PQ = 4cm, (Given)

PR = 8cm,  (Given)

RT = 6cm  (Given)

Area of Triangle = 1/2 × l × b

Area of ΔPQR = 1/2 × RT × PQ

= 1/2 × 6 ×4

= 12

Thus, area = 12cm²

in ΔPQR, RT ⊥ PQ  and QS ⊥ PR

Thus,

1/2 × PQ × RT = 1/2 × PS × QS

= PQ×RT = PR × QS

= 4×6 = 8×QS

= 24 = 8×QS

= QS = 3cm

Thus, the length of QS is 3cm
