Answer:

Finding sources for research is important, but using unreliable sources will hurt your credibility and make your arguments seem less powerful. It is important to be able to identify which sources are credible. This ability requires an understanding of depth, objectivity, currency, authority, and purpose. ☺️ ☺️ ☺️ ☺️

Answer:

I learned about different varieties of d e p r e s s i o n and its symptoms. I also learned some risk factors that can cause d e p r e s s i o n as well as some treatments for it. Since d e p r e s s i o n is different for everyone, there is no one treatment that works for everyone. It might take a bit of trial and error before the patient can find a treatment that works for them.

Thoughts of s u i c i d e are especially common in older men. More women are diagnosed with d e p r e s s i o n, but this is largely due to women being more likely to seek out medical attention than men are. There are some ways that d e p r e s s i o n can be prevented or at least slowed down.

There are some major differences between being sad/greiving and being d e p r e s s e d. Self esteem is maintained during grieving but is lost in d e p r e s s i o n. D e p r e s s i o n doesn't have positive memories mixed into it. There may be some fantasizing about joining a loved one in death in greiving but in d e p r e s s i o n, thoughts of d e a t h are due to feeling worthless or not being able to cope with the pain anymore.
