Step 2 : Draw an acute angle at A on BA

Step 3 : Draw ray AX on angle drawn

Step 4 : Take n point one by one at equal distance using suitable width of compass

n - number of parts  in which line has to be divided

Step 5 : join last ( nth point) with B

Step 6 : Draw line  parallel to line drawn in step 5 from Each other points on ray AX intersecting AB  to get n Equal Parts

n = 6 if divided to be in 6 parts

n = 7 if divided to be in 7 parts
