Yo,@Pottergod! xD

Here's your answer!

_______________

Lencho,as it's portrayed from the story--has a strong faith in god. So,it's obvious that he'd turn to god,in the hour of his need. His faith was so strong, that he really thought "GOD" would reply to him,and make things alright. His crops had been destroyed by the strong, torrential weather. In order to make a new harvest,he needed a pack of seeds. But,he didn't have the money to do so. Thus,he turned to god for the acquirement of money,i.e-100 Pesos. According to me,a DEIST'll be bound to turn on the enlightened one. However, the "ATHEISTS" wouldn't do so. Hence,Lencho's behaviour was justified to him,but not in reality. He should've found something to earn money.

Well,if i were in Lencho's place,i'd try to find some manual labour--which'd help me gain money. Not that i don't believe in the enlightened one,but it'd be reasonable to find some real-time work--rather than running after something which could never happen;like in Lencho's case. Plus,Lencho gained that money by DOING nothing. It was only his luck that the postman felt pity for him and decided to build some money for the farmer, through his colleagues.

The very act of Lencho writing a letter to God is an act of faith.

Faith can certainly move mountains, as we have seen in Lencho's case. Here 'mountains' do nor mean the geographic landform. Here, mountains refer to big problems. Lencho was indeed facing a crisis in his life. Yet, his faith helped him handle the problem, though luck also had a role to play in it.

Lencho did not think about how he would communicate his problem to God. He also does not go into the logic of a letter being delivered to God in heaven. All he knows is that God is there to listen to him and help him out.

Had I been in Lencho's place, I would have probably borrowed money from someone, and used that money to get started on the next round of crops. I would have prayed to God for help, but would not have become completely dependent on God's aid.
