On the surface of the earth is the ground. A tree stands above the ground, but its roots are under the ground. The roots get food for the tree out of the earth; they also hold the tree to the ground when the wind blows.

When the tree is young, it is very small; but it grows year after year. It gets taller and taller, its trunk gets bigger and bigger; its branches get longer and longer, and there are more and more green leaves on its branches.

The leaves of trees are green in summer. They get brown or red in autumn, and then they fall to the ground when the wind blows.

But in spring, new green leaves come out again on the branches, and also pink or white blossoms which will give fruit later, in summer or in autumn.

A fruit tree gives us fruit to eat. Fruit is good to eat when it is ripe; then it is sweet.

People have gardens and kitchen-gardens. In the gardens people grow: apple trees, pear trees, plum trees, and cherry trees. In the kitchen-gardens people grow vegetables, which are very good to eat: carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers, cabbages, and potatoes.

Once upon a time there was a park named Harihar park so in Harihar colony a lot of kids from that colony used to come and play in this park

so one fine day a small girl saw some children plucking flowers even though it was written on the notice board that do not pluck flowers so she wondered and rushed to her grandpa who had come for a visit she said her grandpa what all had happened

so her grandpa replied in their childhood they knew the use of plants so they didnt even pick a single flower they just used to care for these plants who gives us oxygen , medicines, food etc

so the girl asked with curiosity that then why is this generation doing so

then the grandpa said politely this generation dont even understand the value of parents  then how will they know the value of plants

then her grandpa said then why you try   to say those childrens  the value of plants and that they are green gold so she waved and said okay i will do it ad went to those kids and said what all her grandpa told her

so the childrens realised their mistakes and bought some seeds from the flower shop and sowed as many seeds they had with them
