Features of federalism are:

-It has two or more levels or tiers of government.

- Different tiers govern the same people but each tier has its own jurisdiction on specific matters of legislation, taxation and administration.

-The jurisdiction of the respective levels are specified in the Constitution.

-Fundamental provision of the Constitution cannot be changed unilaterally by one level of government it requires consent of bother the levels of government.

-Courts have the power to interpert the Constitution and the powers of government of different levels.
