all villagers had access to the common land.the small poor farmers and labourers use the common land for grazing their cows and sheep.they fished in the ponds and hunted rabbits in the common forests.for poor farmers open land was essential for survival.it supplemented their meagre income, sustained their cattle and helped them tide over bad times when the crops failed.the poor woman collected firewood for fire and berries and fruit for food on the common land.so it is very beneficial for the poor farmers in England.

hope this ans helps you!!!!
