area of remaining part =area of rectangle-area of semi circle
=14*20cm-1/2πr^2
=280-1/2*22/7*7*7
=280-77
=203cm²

Length of Rectangle ( PQ) = 20 cm


Breadth of Rectangle (QR) = 14 cm


Diameter of Semi- Circle = 14 cm


Radius Of Semi-Circle = 7 cm


Area of Remaining Portion = Area Of Rectangle – Area Of Semi-Circle



Area Of Rectangle = Length × Breadth


Area Of Rectangle = 20×14


Area Of Rectangle = 280 cm²


Area Of Semi-Circle = πr²/2


Area Of Semi-Circle = π7²/2


Area Of Semi-Circle = 76.96 cm²


Area Of Remaining Portion = Area Of Rectangle – Area of Semi-Circle


Area Of Remaining Portion = 280 – 76.96


Area Of Remaining Portion = 203.07 cm²
