we all know that solids are much more rigid as compared to a liquid, which acta like a fluid and is less rigid..
This is because the molecules of a solid are tightly packed whereas in case of a liquid, the particles are much free and loosely fact, due to which it can flow easily...
Now, when we take equal amount of a sold and liquid, then obviously the soild will be more denser since the solids have the property of being more denser than liquids.
